Palamós enjoys this one again 2026 of one of the most emblematic activities of its Festa Major: the Fair of Attractions. After a year of absence, attractions have returned to the town, thus recovering a deeply rooted tradition among families, children and young people of the town.
The fair is located at Plan of Sant Joan, in the area next to the bus station, and will remain open from 19 al 28 of June, coinciding with the central days of the Palamós Festival. During the last few days, the site has been taking shape with the assembly of the different attractions, game booths and complementary services that will bring life to this festive space.
The return of the fair comes after last year Palamós ran out of attractions for the first time in many years. The Major Festival of 2025 it was held without this traditional element after an agreement was not reached between the City Council and the fairs regarding the new location proposed by the council.
The disagreement generated considerable disappointment among many residents, especially among families with children, who saw one of the most anticipated activities of the festive program disappear.
